Cappie Peete (of McCrady’s restaurant) and Communion Wine Club pick 3 easy-to-find, inexpensive wines to go with the Thanksgiving feast. Come join us for a wine experience Thursday, November 14, 2013, at High Wire Distillery on Upper King Street, Charleston. We will be featuring wines from Sicily and the southern Med, partnering with Butcher & Bee for delicious food all night long. Festivities begin at 6 pm and we will be pouring until the juice runs out.
Was at a tremendous tasting tonight at Republic with KRUG champagne. Pouring the 2000 Vintage, Rose, and the Grand Cuvee of course. The 2000 is a monster of a Champagne, brooding, powerful, lush and seductive. Totally awesome. Man do we love bubbles!
